I Love Thy Brother
Jack was the gentle giant who taught his younger sibling how to throw a rugby ball, punch without breaking a thumb, and survive their violent, sexually abusive father. As children, they built a hidden cubby in the dirt, a refuge from a home where safety didn’t exist. As fear shaped their childhood, he spiraled into addiction and self-destruction, an adult cry for help no one heard.
