David Williamson is Australia's most successful and widely performed playwright, and the most produced playwright in Australian theatre history. For more than fifty years, his plays have attracted audiences and generated strong box office success for theatre companies across the country.

Renowned for his sharp, insightful portrayals of Australian life, politics and relationships, Williamson has written more than 50 plays, including The Removalists, Don's Party and The Club. He has also written numerous film scripts and television series.

Celebrated for his wit, social commentary and memorable characters, Williamson has played a defining role in shaping contemporary Australian drama and continues to influence generations of playwrights in Australia and beyond.

Denise Scott | Comedian & Actor

Denise Scott is one of Australia's most celebrated comedians, renowned for her sharp wit, relatable storytelling, and keen observations of everyday life. Over a career spanning more than three decades, she has become a household name across stand-up comedy, television, theatre, radio, and writing.

Her television credits include Mother and Son, Please Like Me, Jack Irish, Winners & Losers, and House Husbands, where her warmth and impeccable comic timing have made her a favourite with audiences. She is also a regular guest on panel shows including Spicks and Specks, The Project, The Hundred, and Have You Been Paying Attention?, voices the Tortoise in Do Not Watch This Show, and narrates Travel Guides.

On stage, Denise has earned a Helpmann Award, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival's Director's Choice Award for Regrets, and the Festival's Most Outstanding Show Award for Mother Bare. Her acclaimed touring partnership with Judith Lucy has also produced sold-out shows and multiple awards.

After navigating a cancer diagnosis over the past three years, Denise has returned to solo stand-up with the honesty, resilience, and humour that have made her one of Australia's most respected and beloved performers.
